Checkback's review tools in ChatGPT and Claude

When you use these tools, we receive only what the tool needs: the review you paste, and the business type, name, city and contact you choose to give. We send the review to the AI service we use to write replies. To check a profile, we send the business name and city to the service that reads the public Google listing.

We don't store the review text or the reviewer's name. We keep a record of each use: the business type, the city and business name for a profile check, the language and general topic of the review, and whether you opened a Checkback link. We use that record to run and improve the tools and to understand which businesses use them. We also use it for our own marketing, including ads to businesses that used the tools. We may share or sell statistics drawn from these records, such as how often owners in a trade or a city ask about bad reviews. We don't sell anyone's personal information. We keep the record for up to 12 months.
